Summary:
We are hiring a Backend .NET Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our development team in Chennai. This role focuses on backend system design, development, and performance optimization using the Microsoft .NET stack.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external system integrations.
Design efficient SQL Server schemas, write optimized queries, and handle database performance tuning. - Follow clean coding practices and maintain code quality through testing and reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable backend solutions. - Diagnose and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and backend infrastructure planning.
Core Requirements:
- 4+ years of backend development experience using .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization.
Solid grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, and software architecture. - Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiar with writing unit tests and performing code reviews. - Exposure to CI/CD tools, deployment processes, and backend system monitoring.
Additional Skills That Add Value:
Experience with asynchronous programming and background job processing. Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus). Understanding of microservices architecture and containerized deployments. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
